The Production Technician at Electrical Switchgear Limited is responsible for handling all panel building tasks assigned. The Production Technician reports to the Production Engineer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build panel according to provided circuit and layout, while conforming to industry-standard in panel building
- Ensure timelines are kept at all times and communicate appropriately if any challenges arise
- Ensure efficient use of materials by generating a component list for each project when assigned.
- Ensure quality of work and efficient use of materials
- Provide daily reports on the status of assigned ongoing projects including the challenges being faced
- Observe the 5S in the work area at all times
- May be assigned any other duties as required.
- Take good care of tools resourced to ensure effective execution of tasks
- Work safely and adhere to the Safety, Health and Environment Management Standards that apply to his/ her work area

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Experience in building electrical panel
