MEXT Hokkaido University Scholarship in Japan 2022 is now open by the Japanese Government. This is a Fully Funded Scholarship in Japan for International Students. Hokkaido University Scholarship is for Masters & Doctoral Degree Programs in Japan.  The Duration of the Master Scholarship is 2 Years & Doctoral Scholarship is 3 Years. Multiple ranges of Academic Fields are available. IELTS/TOEFL is not mandatory for Japanese Scholarships.

Students from All around the world are eligible to apply for the MEXT Japan Scholarship. You just need to submit an English Language proficiency certificate from your university for Hokkaido University MEXT Scholarship 2022. Studying in Japan on Scholarships is now very easy because the Japanese government opens many scholarships for international students. 

Currently, Hokkaido offers 2 different scholarships programs to international students i.e President Scholarship & MEXT Scholarship. The deadline for both Fully Funded Japanese Scholarships is different. Applicants, if wants to pursue a Master’s Degree, must have a Bachelor’s degree & a Master’s Degree in enrollment for Post Doctoral degree.

1# Hokkaido University President Scholarship

The Hokkaido University President’s Fellowship. This scholarship is for prospective international students enrolling in Master’s, Professional, or Doctoral Degree programs who plan to enroll in October 2022.

2# Hokkaido University MEXT University Recommended Scholarship

The Scholarship is for International Students who will be studying under the Government of Japan and the Expenses will be funded by the Japanese Government to Study Master’s or a Ph.D. Degree Programs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • It is offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Japan.
  • Applicants must have the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
  • English Test Score or English Certificate from University.
  • Applicants are expected to be academically excellent and strongly motivated.
  • Applicant Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree for a Master’s Degree.
  • Applicant Must Hold a Master’s Degree for Doctoral Degree.
